Denver-based Alternative Technology, Inc. to Distribute JVC Infrared LAN

Cypress, CA (March 10, 1997) -- JVC Information Products of America has signed Alternative Technology, Inc. to distribute JVC's VIPSLAN-10 family of wireless LAN products. The Denver-based distributor specializes in network, connectivity and systems solutions.

The VIPSLAN-10 family features secure data transfer with true Ethernet 10Mbps throughput, providing the same speed and performance as standard wired 10Base-T cable connections. Three different products comprise the VIPSLAN-10 line: Wireless Office LAN Kità Wireless LAN Kità and Wireless Laptop LAN Kit.
